Rocky The Zombie

My good friend, Amber, over at RockerByeBaby has hooked me up with a couple of different small business owners that needed product shots for their lines on Etsy . I shot a quick session with Maddie and Amber's boys this past weekend just to get a few images for Rocky to put up in her shop. It ended up that the only time we could do them was the middle of the day when the light is just awful, so we found a small spot of shade in my backyard, and did a quick 10 minutes session.

Hey Amber, I think we should video tape next time we do one of these to show everyone how insanely crazy it is when we do this...haha....it's pretty nuts when these 3 get together, and then when we throw trying to get them to model for the camera in the mix...it's just nutty! haha! We were deflinetely sweating when that 10 minutes was over :)

So here they are....the new kid designs from the wonderfully talented Rocky The Zombie

Kendyl- Senior- Part 1

Right off the bat I'm going to admit that Kendyl is not a high school senior, but she could totally pass for one, right? :) I asked Kendyl and a few other high school students to help me out by letting me take some "senior" portraits of them for my new site.
Several years ago I worked for a "senior" portrait studio in San Marcos. I LOVED working there. I love photographing high school seniors. It's fun getting to do several outfit changes, and incorporating some of their likes and hobbies into the shoot. I have been wanting to add seniors to my website for the last year or so, and now it's finally time!
Kendyl and I had a great time. She is a gorgeous girl, and I am very thankful that she was up for helping me out :) Here are a few of my favs so far....enjoy!

We grabbed a couple with Dad as well :)

Angela- Headshots

I met Angela through Craigslist. I'm a total craigslist junkie. I've found so many great things through Craigslist..I love it! So, I was in the barter section checking out what people are looking to trade. I saw one that said massage trade for photography. Hmmm, that sounds interesting. I can always use a great massage...so I contacted her about it. She sent me her website, so I knew that she was legit...and she was able to get me in the next week for a massage in exchange for a few headshots for her site.
I am SUPER picky when it comes to massage therapists. I have had SO many bad ones, so I was a little worried that my end of the deal might not be worth it if she wasn't any good...haha. Boy was I wrong...she was AMAZING!
If you are ever in need of a good massage/acupuncture then contact Angela. She is such a sweetie and has an adorable office in San Diego, or is also available to travel.
Check out her site at www.naturalhealthacu.com

Carla-a little bit of everything

Carla contacted me about a month ago to inquire about getting some headshots done for her website. She is going to be selling jewelry from designers as well as various other accessories through her new website. I wish I had a website address to give you to see where you can get these lovely items, but it's still in the works. I will make sure to post about it once it's up and running though :)
Carla brought along some of her beautiful pieces to wear during the shoot, so we decided it would be great to get some product shots in as well...kill 2 birds with one stone. Wait no, we killed 3 birds because she also brought along her 2 adorable daughters, so we got some family pics in as well :)

Here are just a few of my favs from her session....enjoy!

Yes, the couch made an appearance again. I'm so in love with it....don't be surprised if it turns up on nearly every shoot :) Oooooh, and I have another new chair that I haven't used yet!
