I'm way behind with some things that I have been wanting to post, so I'm just going to jam them all in to one big post k? k.
First off we welcomed a new member to our family last night. We had been looking for another companion for our dog, Faith. We went to look at a dog that we had seen online at a rescue in
Poway. As soon as we pulled up there was this German
Shepherd that looked just like my dog that passed away last year. He had a bad leg, he was hobbling around, and I immediately fell in love! I thought for sure if I asked if he was available that she would say no, but just the opposite happened. She said...yes he is available....take him...he's yours. So we put him in the car, and took him home to meet Faith. Faith is still super jealous of him, but I think that will all smooth over and he will be a great addition to our family! Here's a quick pic that I took of them through the sliding glass door.
Faith thinks she's a lap dog and/or a baby. She LOVES to be held!
I posted a few shots from Heather and John's engagement session a couple of days ago, and then promised to have more up the next night. Unfortunately time got away from me, and I wasn't able to get those up as I promised. I am almost done with editing the rest of their session, and I promise to post a several more once I have them all done...either tomorrow or the next day :) Here is one little teaser until then...
Last Friday was the 2
nd annual "Thank You Party" hosted by Interfaith. They invited me to photograph the event last year, and then again this year. The event is held for volunteers and
donors that help support Interfaith Community Services. My grandparents have been
donors for many years, and my grandpa still volunteers there 3 days a week! It's fun to photograph this event because I also get to bring Maddie along, hang out with my family, and enjoy the festivities. I'm busy getting all of these images edited, but here are a few of my family from the party...
Maddie's first time in a jumper....she had a blast!
For those of you that know me well....you know that I love cake. I tried to win this stupid cake walk last year....this is my Gramp and I giving it another shot again this year....no luck though :(
I adore this shot of Maddie and my Gramp!
3 out of 5 in the bean bag toss wins one of those water bird whistlers.....sweet.
Maddie LOVES corn. She was super stoked to see that is what was on the menu.
Gramp won a dumbo doll for Maddie
Maddie and her cousin, Zach.
Waiting patiently
