My good friend, Jenny, contacted me a few weeks ago to tell me that her brother was gettin hitched, and in just a few weeks. They were originally going to get married on April 10th. I was already booked that day, and was super bummed that I wasn't going to be able to shoot it. They moved the date to the 17th...I was available, so I was of course super stoked to be a part of the day.
They decked out her parents backyard and had a super cute, super sweet, little wedding with just their very closest friends and family. It was such a beautiful wedding and such a beautiful couple!
Here are just a few of Michael and Hannah's Day....enjoy!
I love this "first glance" series. Hannah snuck up behind him...both crazy excited to see each other....and then so much emotion and love at the sight of each other :)
This incredibly gorgeous bouquet was made by the one and only Courtney Tibbets of
After The EngagementCourtney is a super talented local wedding coordinator and also Jenny's best friend since elementary school :)
The cake was flippin adorable!!
Hannah's family was not able to be at the wedding, but her sister sent along this special wedding day package for Hannah. Her something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. She crocheted the "new" pouch that all the goodies came in....gave her the "old" Destiny's Child key chain....let her "borrow" her angel key chain....and the "blue" garter was their mothers, who they lost in June of last year. It was so sweet to see all of these items that her sister so carefully thought and and sent for her :)
Michael's dad walked her down the aisle!
I forgot to mention that Courtney was also the officiant....you can see her little black headband there between them ;) That Courtney is a one stop shop!
Jenny, Michael, and Courtney!
Courtney brought along her famous "photobooth". I had heard about this, but had never seen it in action. Let me tell you...this thing is RAD! If you are considering a photobooth at your wedding....definitely check hers out!!
A candle burn throughout the night for those who are no longer with us.
