The Farley Family
I wanted to throw up a quick teaser for the family that I shot today. Brian and I are running out real quick to say goodbye to his family. We had a ton of fun at this shoot today. Brian came up with a great idea to play Twister, but it soon became Champagne Twister. More pics to come soon!
Note: The quality on this image is super-low.
Just wanted to put it up real quick so you could see at least one shot.

Our 3 days of Christmas
I hope that all of you had a VERY merry Christmas!!!
We had such a great holiday. I love when we get to drag it out for 3 days. On Christmas Eve, my whole family came to our house for dinner and presents. Christmas day we had breakfast and presents at home with just the three of us, and then we went to Brian's brother's house for dinner and presents. Then tonight we went to Brian's dad's house for dinner and presents with his sister and family. We have had the best time.
I got some great gifts. I have been asking for a simple point and shoot camera to keep in my purse, and Brian got me a little Nikon cool pix. I have only had one other point and shoot in my life which broke after a few months, so it's a little hard to get used to. I'm not sure if I don't have it set right or what, but it takes FOREVER to take the dang picture. Maddie is already in the next room by the time it takes the picture! I'm going to have to read up on it a little bit more to see if there's something I'm missing.
We do Secret Santa on both sides of our family. This year my sister-in-law got me, and got me a super great gift. She stole my car last night and got it detailed. We bought my car last November, and it hadn't been washed since. She knew how badly I wanted it done, but I just never had the time! Ooohhh, Maddie also get Brian and I a RAD gift... Season passes to Magic Mountain! Oh yea, we are SO excited...we're planning on going next week! ok, enough jibber jabber...I'll just include some photos to help show what we were up to...
The first several pictures were taken with my new Nikon Cool PixL18

This is the first picture I took with my new camera. Maddie is not used to flash, so she blinks in almost every picture! This is her with her new Cinderlla doll on Christmas morning!
Guess I need to see if there is a red eye reduction feature...
Bed Head
Eggs for Christmas breakfast!
Maddie got a kid's digital camera
Don't they look pleasant?
Maddie wasn't to sure about the cousin's at first, but she got over it soon.
We took some generation shots
and a group shot
The fam at Papa's house
I love the tounge....it's always out when she's concentrating.
Typical stocking stuffers from his dad...Brian got a condom and I got dish soap.
Another great stocking stuffer... a case for his dentures :)
Papa putting Maddie's clips in Zach's hair.
Again with the tongue
I told Zach to go sit next to Maddie....he sits right in front of her :)
Maddie with the cousins
Maddie got this adorable little table and a tea set...they absolutely loved it!
Maddie got another purse to add to her collection.
Slinky!
Finally, a week off!
This was my first week of my winter break from work. It was a hectic week, but so nice to able to spend the entire week with Maddie. I have also pretty much taken the whole week away from the computer (except to check my email)! So, I have a little bit of catching up to do.
Maddie got into my blush a few days ago. It's pretty frustrating when I find that she has gotten into my makeup and smeared and dumped it everywhere, or has dumped the dog food or cheerios all over the house; but then you look at that sweet face and all the frustration goes away. Here are a few snaps from the episode.

I told her one or the other....Hmmm, binky or makeup brush...binky or makeup brush.
She got thristy after putting all that blush all over her face!

Busy, busy day!
I'm exhausted! We started the day by heading to Costco to pick up our extremely procrastinated Christmas cards. We ended up using a picture of only Maddie because we could never get a decent picture with all 3 of us. This is the picture we chose for the card.
Then we went over to Brian's mom's house for a cookie baking, Christmas tree decorating, get my Christmas cards ready...day. I baked 4 different batches of cookies, none of which turned out very good....such a bummer! Oh well, one day I'll get good at this baking thing! After watching Elf (one of Brian and I's favorite movies) we finally got to address the Christmas cards. We were rushing to get them done and out to the post office by 6, but it didn't happen :( We then went to church to go to the annual Christmas concert. Maddie loved it. She was dancing and twirling to the music! She almost made it all the way through the concert, but right towards the end she was going around and trying to get everyone to play peek-a-boo with her. We decided that it was time to go, and headed home.
I'm going to go lay down now, but I'll leave you with a couple more pics I snapped of Maddie yesterday.

Sarah- Headshots 5
Here are the last of Sarah's head shots. She's having a super hard time deciding which ones she would like to use. If you have a favorite...or two....please comment on which ones you like the best. Thanks!
