A very busy Thursday...

Maddie has been completely obsessed with these cupcakes that they have at our grocery store for the past year. Every time we tell her we are going grocery store she gets super excited and asks if she can look at her cupcakes while we are there, and the entire time we are there she continually asks if we can go back and look at them one more time! We have been telling her this past year that we would go to the store for her 3rd birthday and let her actually buy them :) So yesterday was the day...the day she actually got to put them in her basket and take them home. Because of her crazy obsession with cupcakes we decided this year's birthday party would be everything cupcake :)

After we got home we had some good friends over to help us bake 104 cupcakes for Maddie's big birthday extravaganza coming up tomorrow!!

While the cupcakes were in the oven I asked Jessica if we could take a quick shot of her tummy. She didn't want maternity shots, but everyone needs at least one shot of the preggo belly :)

After nap we headed to the park to meet up with my nephew, niece, and sister in law to take some more pics for PoppySprouts

Brandon-Senior

Brandon loves to mountain bike, so where else would we do his pictures then at his favorite trails. His mom mentions before we start the hike that she has her pepper spray because there has been mountain lion sightings in the area.....grrreat! The entire time I was just waiting for one to jump out of the bushes! So obviously we survived :) and got some great pics for Brandon to send out to announce his graduation coming up in just a few weeks!!!!!

Happy Mama's Day!

Happy Mama's Day to all of you out there, and to my amazing Mama!

Mama, you are my best friend, and I LOOOOVE you :) I hope that I can be as amazing as a mom to Maddie as you are to me!

Me, my mom, and Maddie got together this morning to do more pics of Maddie in herPoppySprouts clothes, and then enjoyed some snacks and drinks at Starbucks :)

A big thank you to my mom for these pictures...she IS the reason these pics of Maddie come out so well...I could not do it without her :)

A Boudoir Marathon

I'm so so SO excited about this! My friend Melissa and I are hosting our first ever Boudoir Marathon on Sunday, June 6th. It's a chance for you or you and your girlfriends to get glammed up, have some champagne, and have some fun getting photographed! My custom made Camera Bag!!

Yay! It finally came! My custom made camera bag from Brooke Van Gory

Brooke is an incredible seamstress/designer you owns and operates her shop Brook Van Gory. She specializes in custom diaper bags, purses, wet bags, and now....Custom Camera Bags!!!

I found Brooke through Amber of RockerByeBaby. Brooke makes all the custom diaper bags in Amber's shop. So after seeing one of Amber's diaper bags in person...I decided I needed one! I contacted Brooke and asked her if she would be interested in making me a camera bag....she was more than willing! I chose the colors and fabric, and wha-la... a gorgeous and functional camera bag. I used this bag during 2 of my shoots this week and I loved it.....it's so much better than lugging around the big bulky backpack that I was using before. Now I just keep my camera, 2 lenses, my hood, camera cards, and an extra battery in it....just so I have what's most important on me at all times :)

I chose the fabric for my bag at my local fabric store...let her know the name of it and got exactly what I wanted. This fabric is also available on any of her bags now, so you can pick up one of your own.... or choose another fabric that fits your style :)

Inside zipper pocket...I keep used camera cards there to make sure they don't get lost!!

I keep my cell in the outside pocket so that I can check the time quickly, and my business cards go on the other side :)
