Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we met our good friends Becca, Wade, and Wyatt at the pumpkin patch. We met Becca and Wade in birth class a couple of years ago, and hit it off right away. Wyatt and Maddie are 5 days apart, and we all like to hope that one day they will fall in love :)

Brian and I photographed this lovely couple yesterday at Felecita Park in Escondido, just a short drive from our house....love that! It was a very short, but very sweet wedding. We were only booked for a few hours, but created so many beautiful images in so little time! It's hard not to with a couple like this though. They just completely adored each other, and that shines through in every image. Thanks guys for inviting us to be part of your day :) enjoy the sneak peeks!

Emily had told me on the phone that she wanted to do a "Cinderella" pose, but that it might be a little tough to get Luciano to do it. I'm so glad that he did...it came out soooo cute!

Wednesday Mornings!

I currently work a full time job as well as run my photography business on the nights and weekends. Because I have nobody to watch Maddie on Wednesday mornings I am "forced" to stay home from work until my Mom can come pick her up :)Maddie and I LOVE our Wednesday mornings together! Today we were supposed to sleep until 7 (well, that's what I thought she would do, so I stayed up until after 12 the night before), but Maddie decided she wanted to get up and get ready with Daddy at 5:30am. That means Mama must get up as well...booooo! It was ok though because it was Wednesday! So, we turned on Disney and watched cartoons until 7. I love the Disney cartoons....Wiggles has got to be my favorite. It blows my mind that these four grown men can act so ridiculously silly in front of the whole world...love it! Next we got ready and went to Target and Party City. I got a bunch of awesome props for my new photobooth that I will be offering at weddings, and Maddie got a white cowboy hat for her Halloween costume. We got home and immediately started playing with what we had bought at Party City. Here's a few pics of Maddie hammin it up...

I give myself the option to change packages and pricing quarterly throughout the year, and like to give customers the option to book now before the change. Nicole Maternity

I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole's maternity photos a couple of weeks ago. She brought along their boxer, Gus, to take part in the photos since he is their current baby. I love this session! Doesn't she just have the cutest preggo belly? I also love that in the middle of the session she told me that she brought along peanut butter to do a kissing shot with her and Gus. I had in my notes to do the same shot, but was afraid that she would think that was weird and not cute :)

A good friend of mine from elementary school got ahold of me a few months ago to ask me to take pictures of her triplets when they arrived. I was beyond stoked to take pictures of these babies. They are 4 weeks old in these pictures. I didn't get as many as I would have like because they all seemed to be hungry during the session, but I'm going back soon to do more of the little ones. I can't wait!

finally

I have time to blog...
Except for the excitment of having a new home, moving truly sucks! This weekend we worked on going through the garage, and bringing in stuff out of boxes. We got the office almost completely unpacked. It's so nice to finally have an office. Everything finally has a spot instead of being in random piles around the house. Brian and I just finished installing the laminate wood floor. This stuff is amazingly awesome. It's from Costco, and runs about $1.50/ft which is crazy cheap. The stuff at Home Depot was almost double! Not only was it super easy to install, but it totally looks like real wood. I'm going to take pictures of it tomorrow, and post them.
So, through all the chaos I did have time to do a couple of sittings which I will post in the near future...promise :)

SO BUSY!

Holy cow!! We are SO busy! We closed escrow last week, and have been at the new house working until 10 o'clock every night! We are completely remodeling the entire house...it's so exciting! I have some new pictures to blog, but I just don't have the time at the moment. I will put them up very soon though...

Brian and I went to see the Old 97s last night. It was the most amazing show!!! The show was onboard the Hornblower Inspiration. The stage was up on the deck, and we just cruised around while watching one of the best live bands I've ever seen. I saw them forever ago at 4th and B, and I thought that was amazing...but this was unreal. So cool to be watching a show while having the beautiful San Diego skyline lit up right next to you. We cruised under the Coronado bridge a couple of times....I was just in heaven! If you don't know the Old 97s....check them out...it's great music for everyone!

Finally, after searching since March...we have had an offer approved for a house! We get the inspection next week...we are so dang excited! So, hopefully we will have some pics of our new casa in the next month or so :) yea!
